The Commission was created to develop and administer sports in the State. It was formerly known as Edo State Sports Council. It became the Edo State Sports Commission through an act dated 18th August, 2021.
The Edo State Sport Commission is committed to promoting and developing sports in Edo State, Nigeria. We aim to create an environment that fosters athletic excellence, encourages participation, and supports the growth of sports at all levels.
